Specifically, Ergodyne will be lending its industry-leading expertise to a tour that will make 120 stops throughout North America over the course of six months. The three companies are joining forces to address the most critical safety concerns facing today’s construction workers: effectively handling heat stress, preventing tools from becoming dangerous dropped objects, and avoiding exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust.

The Bosch Power Tour is an education and innovation center that allows workers to get training (and a free lunch!) right where they work. The practical, hands-on education is tailored to trade professionals and provided by qualified trainers who lead jobsite programs on heat stress management and at-heights safety.

Part of the fabric of the North American construction industry for more than a century, Bosch has a legacy of supporting the working men and women who have built our local communities. Their innovative tools have allowed workers to get the job done safer, better, and more efficiently.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to partner with Bosch and Simpson Strong-Tie, two exceptional powerhouse brands,” said Tom Votel, president & CEO, Ergodyne. “As an industry leader in objects at heights and heat stress (and more), we believe our expertise will be of great value to the tour.”

“The Bosch Power Tour is an opportunity to add real value on the jobsite in terms of safety and better work practices,” said Erica Johnson, brand manager, Bosch Power Tools. “By bringing together best-in-class partner companies to address their respective expertise, Bosch is doing what it has always done – leading the industry by example.”

Ergodyne’s training for the Bosch Power Tour addresses heat stress management, including recognizing common heat-related illnesses, learning how to treat them, and the latest preventive best practices. Additionally, its at-heights safety training will stress how objects at-heights safety is as much about preventing dropped objects above as it is about protecting workers below.
