Hanley Wood, the premier information, media, event, and strategic marketing services company serving the residential, design, and commercial construction industries, announced today the launch of a new thought leadership platform focused on one of America’s hottest topics, infrastructure. Infrastructure 360 is comprised of a dedicated content platform that will act as the go-to resource for industry professionals and an annual conference, Infrastructure Imperative, with its inaugural event taking place in Cleveland, Ohio on November 13-15, 2018.
“This is a crucial time for our industry to come together and discuss the best ways to execute on new capital-expenditure infrastructure projects,” said Peter Goldstone, CEO of Hanley Wood. “Our nation’s infrastructure is in dire need of improvements and the cost of repairing our infrastructure is only going up.”
America's infrastructure scores a D+ on the latest Infrastructure Report Card. According to the ASCE, the US will need major infrastructure improvements that will require an estimated investment of $3.6 trillion by 2020. Infrastructure 360 will set out to answer what our infrastructure will need to look like in the next 10 years and what materials, equipment, technology, and construction methods will be needed to respond to the demand for resilient infrastructure.
Infrastructure 360’s content platform will draw from existing projects published across Hanley Wood’s leading media brands including ARCHITECT, PUBLIC WORKS, and CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION, and identify and publish new projects, white papers, infographics and other engaging and valuable content on an ongoing basis.
Infrastructure Imperative will bring together public works officials, city engineers, architects, and designers and builders of infrastructure to discuss how cities, counties, states, and the nation can take action to respond to the needs of building a smarter tomorrow.
