In the past, we shared photos of products we think are particularly interesting. This year I'm trying something different.
Thanks to smartphones and YouTube, potential public works customers can get a better handle on whether or not a product can help solve a particular maintenance and/or service challenge by watching it in action.
Here they are in alpha order (because that's how my mind works).
3M’s vehicle conspicuity tape "Conspicuity" is retroreflectivity for vehicles instead of signs. The U.S. DOT has required retroreflective tape or reflectors along the sides and rear of tractor/trailers since 2001. Crash rates, particularly in rural areas, are lower, so there's talk of extending the requirement to Class 1-3 trucks.
