The American Concrete Institute (ACI) has announced the winners of the 2014 Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (FCR) Bowling Ball Competition.  The competition took place at the ACI Spring 2014 Convention in Reno, Nevada. The objective was to demonstrate the effect of fibers in reinforcing concrete, to gain experience in forming and fabricating a concrete element, and to encourage creativity in engineering design and analysis.
