Craftsmanship, quality control, and teamwork were basic elements in producing an attractive, durable concrete floor at a competitive price for a warehouse store in Westland, Mich. The 122,000-square-foot, 8-inch-thick floor was completed in 10 working days. The floor profile quality exceeded minimum requirements for flatness and levelness.
Every member of the construction / design team strived to obtain a high-quality floor by incorporating known technology with advance planning. Because the construction team had worked together on earlier projects, lessons learned on previous jobs helped this project proceed smoothly and efficiently.
This project illustrates that good techniques and quality control can achieve superior results. Floor contractor Simone Contracting employs only qualified, experienced personnel, including two ACI-certified technicians and four ACI-certified finishers. The end product exemplifies this high degree of competency and professionalism.
