Dee Brown Inc. (DBI), Dallas, Texas, has announced the promotion of Robert V. “Rob” Barnes III to the position of president and chief operating officer. The new president of this 50+-year-old masonry company follows his grandfather, DBI Founder Dee Brown, and father, Buddie Barnes, current chairman and chief executive officer.
Rob began his career in DBI project management nearly 19 years ago, and then spent a number of years in estimating and marketing. In 1999, he was promoted to vice president estimating and marketing, and then executive vice president in January 2006.
