Dr. Brown, who leads the MTSU Concrete Industry Management program, and a colleague (Dr. Jacob Avila) are conducting a study to examine employee burnout and work-life context in the concrete industry. They have received approval from the university to begin collecting data and are excited about the opportunities to share their findings with all the members of the concrete industry. Your response to this anonymous survey is crucial to advancing the understanding of concrete industry work and identifying intervention strategies that may serve to enhance the health and engagement of professionals working in the concrete industry.

They are using two validated instruments for assessing these phenomena. The instruments are the MBI and AWS and they are highly effective (and expensive) so they want to get as many people as possible to participate so as to gain a better understanding of these phenomena in the concrete industry.

They are specifically hoping to get feedback from industry professionals (18 years and older) at U.S. and Canadian-based concrete industry companies. They ask that you share this link with your colleagues. The survey will be open until December.
