In addition to the great events that are returning to World of Concrete this year, some new events will be taking place that you won't want to miss. First, get out to the Bronze lot on the south end of South Hall to see this:

  • The John Deere Operator Challenge: Each year John Deere gives operators an opportunity to experience machines firsthand through the John Deere Operator Challenge. This year marks the 17th year of sponsorship of the event, held annually in conjunction with World of Concrete. The event challenges operators to complete a variety of tasks within a set amount of time to score points while avoiding penalties. Prizes are awarded daily to the top operator for each machine.
  • Western Star Trucks Get Tough Challenge: Western Star will showcase a variety of vocational products and options at the 2020 World of Concrete. But the “Western Star Trucks Get Tough Challenge” puts drivers behind the wheel to experience the Western Star difference. The ninth annual ride-and-drive event, which takes place in the Bronze Lot at the Las Vegas Convention Center, takes contestants along a short course in their choice of a Western Star truck and scores them on a 50-point scale. All entrants receive Western Star prizes. Last year we had more than 200 drivers compete in the challenge, and this year we’re expecting even more.
  • 2020 SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® World Championship: Known as the Super Bowl of Masonry, it’s the only event that that answers the question: “Who is the World’s Best Bricklayer?” Celebrating its 18the annual season, the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® competition is the World of Concrete/World of Masonry’s most exciting attraction you don’t want to miss!
