Terex Aerial Work Platforms, a business segment of Terex Corporation, has appointed Ken Doan as Regional Sales Manager for the southern Texas region, including Houston, Beaumont, Victoria, Corpus Christi and the Valley. In this role, Doan will be responsible for supporting customers and the development, execution and growth of Genie product sales in this region. He will report to Bob Wilking, Regional Vice President, South Central Region.
Doan comes to the Genie sales team from Terex Construction in Southaven, Miss., where he held various sales positions between 2004 – 2015, including Regional Sales Manager, Division Sales Manager and Director of Sales. He brings an extensive background in equipment sales, including 10 years previously with the Genie team.
“Ken’s extensive experience with both the Genie and Terex products will truly benefit our current and future customers in the southern Texas territory,” said Wilking. “He understands the many aspects of the industry and that will serve him well.”
Doan is a graduate of the University of Texas where he majored in Finance. “I am excited to be coming home to the Genie team and my Texas roots. South Eastern Texas is a growing vibrant area that, today, has a very diverse construction base. Commercial construction, industrial construction and the petro chemical production markets are booming.”
