Alan Sparkman, executive director of the Tennessee Concrete Association, and students from the Concrete Industry Management program at Middle Tennessee State University, placed three pervious demonstration pads. The first was placed too wet, the second was too dry, and the third was placed just right.
Contractor Clinic: Butterfield Color Inc.
This Contractor Clinic focuses on various methods of creating decorative steps with form liners and stencils. They also touch on the use of integral coloring, color hardeners and overlays with steps, as well as framing cantilevered steps and coloring/texturing existing steps.
The SIA Scaffold Safety Challenge
Steve Smith, president of SIA, speaks to the importance of scaffold safety and how this challenge helps train workers to spot the problems.

Artistry in Concrete: Muud Design
Neil Hughes and Adrian Gascon of Muud Design wanted to create something they had never seen before in concrete. They accomplished this with a design that was inspired by the ruins of the Angkor Wat temple in Angkor, Cambodia. The design involved intricate carvings and dynamic dimensions that give life to the project.
Artistry in Concrete: Robert Chaney
In this segment, Rob Chaney of Antex Western in British Columbia takes recycling to the next level by incorporating what would be discarded computer chips into his work of art.

Troy Oliver, a Junior at Middle Tennessee State University, explains his plans to create a concrete skateboard.
