Concrete Cares of Nebraska along with the Nebraska Concrete and Aggregates Association has announced the Concrete Cares of Nebraska 2014 Kickoff Event. Participants will enjoy a day of fun with music, games, fingernail painting, motorcycles, military vehicles, tow trucks, concrete trucks, pump trucks, fire trucks, and police cars. Organizers seek volunteers to help work during the event and with setup and tear down. Also, they are requesting silent auction items, and money to buy auction items, Paracord supplies for bracelets and key chains, T-shirts, and money to put toward funds for cancer patients and their families. About 500 people attended last year and raised $3,788. If you are able to contribute to this year’s event, contact Kyle Poff at 308-440-5445, or email [email protected].
