The National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) will graduate the largest-ever class of Master Precasters at The Precast Show 2016. Students earning the Master Precaster designation must complete the six courses in the Precast University curriculum in order.
The NPCA Precast University courses train students in production, quality, safety, technical, and plant leadership. The courses are offered online via webinar and in person at the association’s events throughout the year. The Master Precaster program not only enhances the precast concrete industry’s workforce development efforts, but also provides a path to those in the industry to grow their careers. For more on NPCA’s Precast University, visit www.precast.org/precastuniversity, or contact Marti Harrell, the association’s vice president of education and training, at [email protected].
In addition to the Master Precaster program, the NPCA offers monthly precast-specific educational webinars. These webinars cover a wide range of topics from production and repair to quality control and everything in between. The association’s webinar video recordings are also available via the NPCA education portal. Precasters can access dozens of past education webinars on a wide variety of topics.
The association’s online library is a great resource for employers looking to train their employees at their own plant at a minimal cost. Visit www.precast.org/classes to learn more about the association’s webinars and its online education library or contact Harrell at mharrell@pre cast.org. Visit www.precast.org for more on NPCA.
