The Croydon Business Centre four-story multitenant office building features two of the heaviest tilt-up concrete panels ever lifted in Western Canada, weighing 196,000 pounds each. Interior finishes were a major priority, and imported Italian plaster was used. The tight floor plan combined with cast-in-place stair shafts, and shear walls required thoughtful layout of panels and stackers. The building follows LEED specifications, using recycled materials wherever possible.
