ICS, a division of Blount International Inc. (Booth O30504), is now the exclusive distributor of Pentruder Inc. (Booth O30311), a Swedish manufacturer of cutting systems, in the Americas. Under the agreement with parent company Tractive AB, marketing, selling, and support of Pentruder products have moved from Chandler, Ariz., to ICS headquarters in Portland, Ore. Former Pentruder President/Owner Terry Martin joins ICS as business development director. Pentruder’s wall saws, wire saws, and core drills expand ICS’s line of diamond tools and equipment for cutting, drilling, demolishing, and finishing hard materials.
“The product families are a perfect complement,” says Tractive AB’s Anders Johnsen. Integration of the two businesses begins immediately.
