MASONRY MADNESS will ensue at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry in Las Vegas this February! One event after the other, the best bricklayers, blocklayers, mason apprentices and tenders will battle in four unique masonry contests to prove who is the world’s best. They compete for the largest value of cash and prizes – $120,000 – awarded for any construction industry trade event held in the world.
Ranked as the top attraction during the World of Concrete tradeshow, this trowel and mortar party takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Gold Lot. Spectators and webcast viewers – live webcast at www.SPECMIXBRICKLAYER500.COM – will witness an amazing display of human skill and endurance as over 90 masonry warriors fight for the champion title in their respective competitions. Throughout the day the crowd is given several chances to participate in sponsor demonstrations and games to win prizes and discover the latest product innovations impacting the efficiency and cost savings available to contractors.

SPEC MIX TOUGHEST TENDER – 10:45 a.m.(Pacific) The world’s top mason tenders compete for the fastest time setting up their mason’s SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 workstation. Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation Founded in 2002, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation mission is to provide college scholarships, supplemental grants and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty in the last 25 years. Their goal is to ensure that EVERY such child receives ALL necessary college funding. The organization works to identify those children who are eligible and to make them aware of the Foundation and the opportunities and services it offers. In addition, they raise funds and bridge the gap between existing sources of grants and scholarships. The Foundation also acts as a resource to eligible families as they try to find other sources of scholarships and provide counseling as they prepare their children for college.
