As part of its bid to construct the border wall, this company has developed a novel forming method whereby excavators position wall form panels without ties. Fisher Sand & Gravel construction crews descended on Sunland Park, New Mexico over Memorial Day weekend, armed with specially equipped excavators and prefabricated bollard steel fencing. Construction was reported complete ten days later, with about a half-mile of barrier constructed in the formerly pristine environment. The US Army Corps of Engineers has given this wall construction method a negative evaluation.
