Earl Senchuk constructed a tree with irrigation tubes running up the trunk and out the branches to feed planters.
Here's what the tree looked like after it was colored.
Senchuk added fern plants to make his tree look more normal. A metering device places the right amount of water in the planters each day.
The tree was given to the manufacturer Mapei's president. The base of the tree features broken tile pieces with the company name included.
Senchuk brought a concrete turtle with him to show what also can be done.
Take a closer look at the details seen in this concrete turtle.
