X Form is a two-piece column form system that provides a rapid erection method of forms, shoring, and scaffolding. The modular component design reduces material handling, inventory, and return trips to the job. Key to the design is the “L” shaped form, with a back basic length ranging from 12 to 16 in. During installation, contractors adjust the two sides of the forms using bolt connectors to achieve a wide range of cross-sectional shapes and dimensions for the final column. The 10-ft. forms are easily extended with bolted attachments to any height that withstands internal form pressures as high as 3000 psi with exterior reinforcement.
