Concrete producers have another reason to visit Las Vegas this year, as CONEXPO-CON/AGG returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 22-26. Held every three years, the construction exposition expects more than 2000 exhibitors who will showcase their equipment, products, services, and technologies.
The event will be organized by product concentration areas to help attendees locate specific products, services, and exhibitors of interest to their fields.
This year's show promises a new focus on education; concrete is one of nine educational tracks. Attendees can earn continuing education credits.
Many associations will offer certification courses and exams, including the American Concrete Pumping Association, Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, National Concrete Masonry Association, and National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA).
Take advantage of other new highlights during the week:
International Mixer Drive Championship – The NRMCA sponsors this live competition to recognize the most talented individuals delivering one of the world's most versatile building materials.
- Green Roads Summit – One-day event offers ready-to-apply green construction techniques and the latest environmental information affecting jobsites, including green roads programs.
- Crane and Rigging Conference – One-day conference for safety personnel, fleet and facility managers, and operators to debate real-world dynamics of working with this specialized equipment.
To make the most of their time at CONEXPO-CON/ AGG, attendees can access industry-specific reports that show the week's events for specific industries: aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, heavy lifting, utilities, plus business management and Tier IV engines.
