Perez and his wife started their business four years ago, contracting 70% of their work directly. They focus on decorative walls, waterfalls, overlays, and terrazzo.
His decorative project focused on diamond polished overlay concrete. He formed a circle in the center and placed colored overlay cement. He then glued cross-sections of seashells in a patterned arrangement around the circle and placed black colored overlay cement mixed with sea shells and a special fine aggregate that glows in the dark. He completed the work by diamond grinding the surface to a 3000-grit polish.
