MQ Whiteman is introducing a new concept in edging trowels. The model J3036H55 is the first trowel to allow contractors to adjust the guard ring diameter to meet their job requirements.
Easily converting between 36 inch and 30 inch widths by replacing the outer sections of the ABS plastic rotating ring and repositioning trowel blades, it provides greater versatility and enhances fleet utilization. Its compact design also allows for finishing around risers even in confined areas. Uniquely designed blades contact the concrete surface to the outer limits of the rotating ring. The edging feature can easily save labor costs and enhance productivity on the jobsite.
Other features include a reliable 5.5 HP Honda QX 160 engine and a large oil capacity gearbox for years of trouble free use. A center mounted lifting bail for ease of movement comes standard on all Multiquip walk behind trowels. This unit works with either MQ Whiteman handle assemblies (SXH/QXH) that are sold separately. The trowel can also be utilized as a standard walk behind finisher as the operating weight is the same as standard 36 inch walk-behind trowels.
