Dragon Screed’s revolutionary design levels subgrade and screed concrete quickly and with ease. It can be configured from 10 feet to 24 feet wide, on the sides or in front of a machine, and in forward or reverse.
The screed is adjustable to pour anywhere from 6 feet to 22 feet wide. It drags, floats, and vibrates the concrete with every pass. Using a hydraulic pivot, it allows you to pour on a pitch or from an uneven surface. The machine features wide floats that drag smoothly behind the screed bar - each with a vibrator attached. A wireless remote control runs vibration at five different speeds to help smooth the surface and consolidate material with each pass. A quick-attach handles provides the ultimate maneuverability on small jobs, making Dragon Screed the only screed you’ll ever need.
From large parking lots, to residential driveways, and municipal roadways, Dragon Screed is a good fit for a variety of projects. Users will experience a 50% reduction in labor - not just in the number of workers, but also in physical toil required. Simply get the gravel or concrete reasonably close to grade and Dragon Screed does the rest. Dragon Screed also allows you to pour larger projects with smaller crews, giving you more resources to complete projects. One contractor poured 33 truckloads, each with 9 1⁄4 yards of concrete, delivered 15 minutes apart. He started the job at 6:00 AM with just 8 employees and they finished pouring, brooming, and sealing by 4:30 p.m.
Dragon Screed cuts a laser-accurate subgrade, leading to a uniform thickness and a stronger slab. A consistent base means you’ll also have more accurate concrete orders, leading to less wasted material and less time waiting for a catch-up load. High water content has a direct, negative effect on concrete’s strength that leads to shrinkage cracks and surface scaling. With Dragon Screed, the skid steer does all the dragging, so you can pour concrete with a much lower water content.
