The James Bond Test MK III equipment tests the tensile bond strength of overlays, adhesion strength of paint and coatings, and tensile strength of underlayments. The test is conducted by the direction tension or pull off methods. The system includes two calibrated gauges with maximum load indicator and mechanical damping; ball joint design for rapid testing and to assure direct tensile loading; and an adjustable alignment plate with built in leveling facility for vertical and horizontal pulls.
