SPEC MIX® Polymer Modified Setting Bed Mortar (PMSBM) is an engineered, factory preblended setting bed material for paving applications. SPEC MIX PMSBM incorporates proprietary polymeric admixtures for superior bond strength and durability. SPEC MIX PMSBM has tested to exceed ANSI A118.7 and applicable ASTM Standards. In comparison to other setting bed materials, SPEC MIX PMSBM does not require the addition of liquid bonding admixtures. It is also available in multiple aggregate gradations to match the scope of work. Additionally, SPEC MIX PMSBM is available in a limitless range of colors to achieve unique joints that match or contract the paver unit.
SPEC MIX Polymer Modified Setting Bed Mortars are packaged in convenient 80# bag or in 3000# bulk bags that can be used in conjunction with any of the SPEC MIX silo delivery systems, allowing the contractor to reduce labor while increasing product output on site.
