Many of the nearly 50,000 people who attended World of Concrete in January spent much of their time at the Concrete Surfaces & Decorative Pavilion outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. And why not? The record-warm weather was ideal for attendees to stroll among the exhibitors’ booths to see the latest products and innovations that will assist them with their businesses when they returned home.
This was the perfect place to see products and equipment in action, and take part in hands-on demonstrations. The pavilion hosted manufacturers involved with coloring, polishing, repairing, and restoring concrete. In addition to decorative tool demos, the area featured a Concrete Polishing Demonstration area, sponsored by the Concrete Polishing Association of America. Also, the National Floor Safety Institute held Static Coeffiicient of Friction demonstrations to determine slip-fall resistance of polished concrete floors.
