RoadWatch is designed to measure surface temperature most accurately when ambient air temperature is between 23 degrees F and 41 degrees F. The sensor is fully calibrated from 15 degrees F to 105 degrees F for 12 air and road temperatures with ISO-9000 process controls and using a NIST-traceable reference. In addition to the sensor, kit comes with fasteners and connectors used by many popular spreaders controllers and automatic vehicle locators and global positioning system devices. Depending on manufacturer’s spread controller, an RS232 adaptor and M8 extension cable may also be required depending on length needed.
