They company's newly patented controller works with HID (high-pressure sodium) as well as LED fixtures to enable end-users to turn both types of lights on and off and, in the case of HID, lower output by 50%. The device attaches to the fixture with a turn-and-lock receptacle that's fully compatible with current photocells. Two additional connections within the receptacle pass the dimming control signals from the controller to the fixture's dimming LED driver or electronic ballast.
