Recycle shower and sink, washing machine, and dishwasher wastewater into a steady and reliable water supply for a commercial or institutional building’s toilet flushing requirements. The automated GW Series Greywater Harvesting System removes biological and chemical contaminants in a process similar to a municipal treatment train:

  • Odor control. Liquid chlorine injected into the stream immediately kills pathogens.
  • Filtration. A settling tank, mesh screen, or bag filter removes large particulates; a multimedia filter removes particulates down to 5 microns; debris is flushed to the sewer system.
  • Sterilization. Choose from UV or chlorination via NSF 61-approved dry pellets.
  • Storage. All storage connects to a municipal water source so toilets can be flushed when there isn’t enough graywater to do so.

At the end of the process, the effluent’s classification changes from “graywater” to “on-site treated non-potable water” that meets most communities’ regulatory requirements.
