The Model 5433 RWIS IceSight remote sensor uses laser and infrared technology to read road surface conditions, temperature, and reduced surface grip caused by snow, ice, and water. It can be mounted on traffic, luminary, or camera poles, or on RWIS towers to give agencies condition information for snow- and ice-fighting efforts, traffic management, and other purposes.
