Available in mild or stainless steel on 1-ton and large dump applications; this spreader eliminates leaking by replacing the tailgate with a custom-built one. The RT’s bottom trough does not open and the spinner sits at the level of the dump body floor providing extra clearance on small trucks. Designed for larger trucks, the RTS has a full-opening bottom trough so the hopper sits below the level of the dump body floor. Both models allow salt granules to feed more evenly into the spreader with an undertailgate spreader. Discharge location options include one-way, reverse flight, center, dual or twin spinner.
