A smaller version of the company’s D Series models, the Ultramech Arctic Shark S Series fractures ice on roadways for more efficient removal and reduced usage of de-icing chemicals. Using a universal skid steer quick-attaching hitch, the attachment mounts to a skid steer loader, compact tractor, or utility vehicle. An articulating subframe operates on uneven areas, including curbs and pans, and is available in four widths ranging from 44 to 68 in. Ideal for sidewalks, pathways, and parking areas, the attachment does double-duty in warmer months as a tool to break up compacted earth or road base for re-grading.
