Dumpsters eleven feet underground will now be used across Kissimmee, Florida. The Underground Refuse System features a removable bin surrounded by a concrete cellar. The portion above ground has a modern metal look complete with a trash door.

When bins need to be emptied, a truck equipped with a portable crane will lift and then dump the refuse and return the bin into its cellar. The company who manufactures the system claims it will "reduce human and unforeseen errors, improve safety for truck operators, reduce maintenance costs and help reduce unwanted animal disruption."

Containers have a card access door in locations where illegal dumping is a problem.
