Insulating concrete forms (ICF) will be used in the construction of Dune Lakes Elementary School in Florida's Walton County School District. Using ICF will make the school about 50% more energy efficient than recent schools built in the district, the architect said.
"We don't just build for now, we're building for the future," Gardner added. "So this will hopefully satisfy that need for hopefully five to six years from now maybe ten."
