This residential project required contractor Anderson Concrete to revive an old floor with a polished concrete finish that better fit the home's aesthetic.

The contractor poured and polished the concrete using SILEX Power Placement and Global Polishing Systems products. A 50 grit resin diamond polishing disc from MK Diamond Products was used as a transitional. Then the floor was polished to a 400 metal and finally a 400 semi-metallic grit. Metzger McGuire's Spal Pro RS 88, a 100% solids, two component heavy duty, semi-rigid polyurea joint filler was used to fill in and protect contraction and construction joints.

The project was completed in four passes. Though straightforward in scope, the end result was an aesthetically pleasing floor that exceeded both the contractor and owner's expectations.
