One of the most innovative things I saw at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in March was the Halo Light from Illumagear. This ring of bright LED lights fits securely on a hard hat and lights up a 360-degree area to make working in dark dusty places a little less dangerous and difficult. It also allows others to see you as far as ¼ mile away and from any direction, increasing safety in traffic zones. The Halo Light comes with a 12-hour battery pack and has a list price of $230.
